Money Simplified

If you’re using Adro and need to link your account to Happy Mango, this guide will walk you through the steps. You will connect your Adro account using your routing number and checking account number, or a service called Plaid that helps link financial services products. Both methods are secure and will only take a few minutes. Let’s get started!

Log In to Your Happy Mango Account

To get started, go to the Happy Mango website.

  1. Find the “User Login” at the bottom left of the page
  2. Select “Applicant / Borrower”
  3. Enter your email address and password
  4. Click “Login.”

Don’t have a Happy Mango account yet? Click on “Sign Up” on the login page and follow the instructions to create one. Creating an account is free. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to link your Adro account.

Go to the “Add Account” Page

Now that you're logged in to Happy Mango, it’s time to add your financial institution details.

  • Click on the "Add Account" button located on the Accounts page, your webpage will open a pop-up window.

This will open the page where you can choose how to connect your Adro account, either by using your online banking login or by manually entering your account information.

In the next steps, we'll discuss both options so you can decide which one is best for you.

Option 1: Use Online Banking Login (Plaid Method)

If your financial institution is supported, Happy Mango lets you connect your account instantly using a secure login system called Plaid.

  1. On the “Add Account” page, choose the option to “Connect your account using your bank login.”
  2. Search for your bank name in the list provided.
  3. A window will open. This is powered by Plaid, a secure service that many financial apps use.
  4. If your financial institution appears, click on it and enter your online banking username and password to verify that you are indeed an account holder.
  5. You may be notified to send a security code to your email or text to verify yourself, depending on the account settings you hold at your financial institution.
  6. After successfully connecting your accounts, the connected accounts will appear on the "Connected Financial Accounts" tab on the "Accounts" page.

Note: Some Adro users may not see their banking partner listed in Plaid. If that happens, don’t worry! Just follow Option 2 below to connect your account manually.

Option 2: Manually Enter Bank Information

If your Adro account doesn’t show up in the Plaid list or if you prefer not to use your login, you can connect it manually. This method uses your routing number and account number, just like setting up direct deposit.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open your Adro account via the app or the official webpage.
  2. From your dashboard, select your checking account.
  3. After the page of your checking account has appeared, head to the “Quick Actions” section and select “Add Money.”
  4. Adro will then ask how you would like to fund your account. Select “International Wire.”
  5. A new page will appear showing all of your account’s important information, including Routing Number, Account Number, Swift/BIC Code, and more.
  6. Copy and paste each number into the matching fields on Happy Mango.
  7. For Account Type, select “Checking.”
  8. Double-check everything to make sure your info is correct.
  9. Click Submit or Save.

That’s it! Your Adro account is now connected, and Happy Mango will send small test deposits soon to verify it.

Wait for Test Deposits (Manual Entry Only)

After you enter your Adro account details manually, Happy Mango will send two small deposits to your account. This is to make sure everything was entered correctly and that the account is really yours.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • These deposits usually show up in 1 to 2 business days
  • Each deposit will be a small amount, like $0.03 or $0.09
  • You’ll receive a notification from Adro once the deposits arrive
  • You can also check your Adro dashboard to see them

Don’t worry, you don’t need to do anything yet. Just wait until both test amounts appear in your Adro account. Then you’ll be ready for the final step: confirming them in Happy Mango.

Confirm the Deposits in Happy Mango

Once the two small test deposits appear in your Adro account, you're almost done! Now it's time to verify the amounts in Happy Mango so your account can be fully linked.

Here’s how to confirm it:

  1. Log back into your Happy Mango account.
  2. Go to the Linked Bank Accounts section.
  3. Find the account you added and click “Verify” or “Confirm.”
  4. Enter the exact amounts of the two test deposits. For example: $0.06 and $0.09
  5. Click Submit.

If the amounts match, your Adro account will be successfully linked and ready to use with Happy Mango. If the amounts don’t match, double-check your Adro dashboard and try again. You can also remove the account and restart the process if needed.
